Cave Run Lake is located 60 miles east of Lexington Ky. Cave Run Lake is a beautiful clean lake with deep water and is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest.. There are very limited facilities at the lake. You must ramp launch. Best place for sailboats is the Scott Creek Marina area.
